    Congratulations Bruce Enns!
    Crab Spider with Prey

These crab spiders hide on flowers and snatch unsuspecting pollinators, such as this bumble bee. I like the OH! "expression" created by the markings on the spiders abdomen. The water droplets are from a sprinkler that was watering the flower garden.

I can't look at this without laughing at the "Oh No!" image on the spider's back! Fabulous catch.

The XT Rebel is a fine camera but this photo is proof positive you don't need to have the latest and greatest equipment to make amazing photographs. Congratulations.

Thank-you very much everyone...I really must apologize for not responding sooner, although I like this image a lot, I didn't expect to see it here in IOTW given all the other fabulous photography that is posted every single day. I haven't had a lot of time to spend here at BPN lately... I'm truly honored.

    Thanks again!

    Cheers,
    Bruce
