    This is a very unusual view IMO.
    I tried a crop with more space on right and it just would not work(for me).
    Taken last June, 1/800, f/7.1, ISO 400, -.33ev

    Reposted here to OOTB from Avian Wild....shooting the "odd" angle is a good thing!

    Dave,
    As you know I like this image. I want to thank you for posting it the OOTB forum after I goofed up the move.

    The image is sharp and well exposed.
    But what hits me is the mood that the bird looking off into the distant sets.

    I just get a feeling of longing or the desire to be "there" rather than "here'

    Hey Dave,
    I like the composition, and exposure. The details on the bird's feathers are razor sharp. The colors are nice and rich. No nits from me...Congrats...:D

    Lovely angle. I'd crop it a lot on the left, for a more daring composition!

    Incredibly unique perspective, Dave! I really like the detail in the eye and the composition.
