Unusually for us we have had a dry spell which has allowed me to experiment with some different shots. It is very rare for our becks to be so low at this time of year.

Taken from a hide. Some light spots removed from water and a crop in lightroom to change the composition.
Many thanks for your comments on my last image, it is helping me to learn.

Very nice image Andrew. I like how the water colours blend well with the Dipper. Well done

Andy that's a great reflection you have got, that dark water up there sets your bird off very well, sorry about tomorrow.

Nice one Andy. I don't go for reflections but this one seems to work fine.
Maybe a very slight right rotation might help. No big deal. Great light.

Fun image. Nice light and pose. Would have been nice to get an even lower angle, although not sure that was possible. You need some CW rotation and I would take some off of the right.

Nicely detailed and crisp, I would concur regards rotation and cropping. I like the colours as presented but I do wonder if the contrast is a little high??

Love the dark water and its texture. I agree with Marina's suggestions, and I would also look into the bright whites - they are quite hot and have a bit of a blue cast to them (but both issues surely tame-able in raw conversion).
