    Hello every one.

I made this image on my last Jan workshop. This is a common bird at one of the feeders we visit. I placed a skinny perch for him and as it looks, he accepted.

    For this one I used

    1D4+600f/4@f/9+1.4TC+ISO1000+SS1/80sec.+Tripod+Fill flash+LR+Resized and sharpened in CS6+FF

    Many thanks for looking.

This is a real stunner, JC...the image and the bird. The perch is lovely as is the BG, and the bird gave you a fine pose.

The bkg area below your sig looks quite noisy Juan. I'd run some NR on it. Apart from that, I love this image you have presented, the pose is very nice as is the perch and raised feathers on the head. Well done.

Beautiful bird, curved perch, BG. Comp looks very good too. I do find the eye a tad soft though, but all else is top notch.

Stunner, like Marina said... love the colors, awesome perch as well, The bird has posed well , alert.

IMO the crest is a little hot (or may be the bird IS like that). Fantastic shot in any case.

lovely pose and BG, the perch is very nice too and the colors are great. I agree the head is a bit soft and the crown looks a tad hot, but otherwise great
