    I visited my favourite location this weekend, Pilanesberg National Park, and although the kingfishers were not active, I managed a few cormorant shots. As my previous post had a reflection, I decided yo post this, trying something different.

    Canon 1D Mark IV
    Canon 300mm F/2.8 +2X TC = 600mm
    1/1000
    F/6.3
    ISO 640

    Manual exposure
    Hand held

    Nice that you were able to get the entire reflection Stuart. The head looks like it could use some additional sharpening.

    I like the artistic look of this shot, Stuart! Nice that you were able to capture this while the wingtip touched the water surface.

    Love the wing touch and the reflection Stuart. Nice banking pose and good HA but I agree with Doug that the head could be a little sharper. Easy fix to a cool and unique shot. Well done

    I like the feel of this shot Stuart. Very nice that he has that wing tip touching the water. I could see that area a little sharper.
