    Default Redhead Drake- Lucky break

I have never been lucky with this species before. Only had ONE shot before this oe. All that changed with this cooperative male. Very dull light but all he was interested in was preening. This was my luckiest day with this species.

Canon 5D3+500mm f4 hand held. ISO 1000, 1/3200, F4. the head looks over cooked but pretty close to how I saw it....

    Hope you like it-

    THanks

Beautiful shot! Love the details and the colors! The green background makes the subject stands out! If it was mine, I would try to crop with less room on top.

I LOVE the low angle! Beautiful OOF BG but not much is happening besides the color. I'd crop it halfway to the head. I'd have a look at bringing down the lightest tones, if that can be done without darkening the body. Maybe a gradient burn from the bottom? Hard to know without trying it.

Very nice specie. Love the light and calmness. I would suggest to move the bird a bit to the right as it is too tight on left.

Perfect angle and nice colors. A great shot, I would not change a thing.

Very nice image of this duck Amol. Love the colours and I think the lighting shows the details well.

Lovely image as presented. Love seeing the waterdrops on the bird's head.

Congrats on the cooperative find! Nice details, well exposed. The head looks OK to me. SUper nice low angle. I like it as is but could also see a version cropped a little tighter.

Beautiful image with killer BG. I would also suggest like the rest of the poster to crop a bit from top and move the bird a bit more to the right.

Nicely lit image makes this one stand out with the red head against the green bg.

Colors give a nice harmony here and I love the water droplets on the head. Super nice low angle...
