Just started a little project trying to photograph my local Water Voles that have made a comeback after been almost wiped out by Mink, it's great to see them again. Just a fun shot with the Vole climbing onto the trainer with a waterproof tag.

Thanks for looking and your comments on my last post(Red Squirrel)

    Hi Keith,
your shoe ? Funny looking image with the combo of animal and human left over in their environment.
Like the overall tones and colors with good details and tonal variations . But would go a tad darker overall , just a fraction to get more depth in the tones.
There is some noise visible in the upper part of the frame , you got the D4 in your hands .So i would just treat the noise a bit more.

Hi Keith - it is a fun image and good suggestions by Andreas for taking it up a notch. Good choice on dof.

Hi keith, a fun image indeed. I first couldn't tell what it was until I read Andreas' comment. Good detail and sharpness. sharpening on the wet fur was perfect to my eye. Loi

Hi Keith, a pretty cool image, and I like the fact the image, as quoted above, is fun, brings a nice diversity to the posting.

My only thought would be to darken the LHC and lower quarter of the image, it hopefully will bring a little more depth and helps those nice subtle bow waves created by the vole. I think you could also lose a little off the top, but no deal breaker. look forward to more.
