    Another Saturday at Desoto, I found this Rreddish Egret in a heavily shaded area, I only managed a few shots before the wanderd back out in the open.
    D-800 500f4 with 1.4 t/c
    Iso 1250 F/8 1/400
    exposure lifted on bird in post

    Loving the black BG here, Robert, and the vegetation works as well. He just glows in the dark here!

    Beautiful image. Subject pops. I would try a little more sharpening on the bird and see how it looks.

    A very nicely composed and processed image. I like all the elements but agree with Enrique that you should see if the image will take a tiny bit more of sharpening.

    Hi Robert, I really like how the beak pops from the darker BG, especially the pink part. I like the low angle of capture together with the pose. I would selectively sharpen the egret a touch more.
