    Due to a lack of trees in SE Alberta, barb wire has become a suitable perch replacement

    Lens: EF500mm f/4L IS USM +1.4x

    Excellent DOF and good sharpness Darren. I would add a little canvas to the bottom of the frame and some on the right. Perhaps some NR on the BG. Thanks for posting!

    One of my favorite sparrows....and you've done him justice. The detail, sharpness, color and BG are wonderful. To show all that great detail this tight image does well. However, I think that I'd like a little more room around the bird. Well done.
