Nice shot, Giovanni! I'm not sure what PP you've done but the contrasts look a bit overdone to me. Nice from an artistic viewpoint, though. I'd remove the rings from the legs, if possible. Other than that I think it's perfect!

I like the crop for what you have in the frame Giovanni. Wouldn't do it any different.

What a wonderful shot!! Great action, sharp, great detail in the feathers and snow! The thin line of water (or sky?) at the top gives a sense of location without competing with the birds.

Cropping is such a personal choice. Your crop here is fine, to me. I tend to crop close and might have cropped a little more on the left, as they are not strongly moving in that direction and there is nothing there to balance the composition except the small detail on the horizon. But then again, I might not...

Possibly a little bit overdone, but not much. The tail of the top bird is a little odd looking, and maybe the head of the lower one, but again not by a lot. I love sharpness and this looks like a sharp file to begin with, so that wouldn't seem to me to be over-sharpening.

    Other opinions??

This image is amazing and you have captured the moment well. I agree with maybe a little over sharpening.
As for the crop I really like it as is but think this could also work as a vertical crop to really focus on the action. If it were mine and was keeping the crop as it is i would try and clone out the small white specs on the horizon (trees?) as i find they distract my attention from the birds a little.

    TFS,
    Iain
