    Joe:

Interesting composition, good title, well exposed, with harmonious color palette. I wish the drake on the left was a bit sharper, it would make for a stronger image for me. I am ok with the OOF drake on the right, helps tell the story. The head angles are good, and I like the hens stretching pose.

    Cheers

Hi Joe, I like the different positions of the three ducks in the frame, and great that the female is sharp, as she is the main point of focus. I would just 'tidy' up around the top of the head of the OOF duck top right.

Hi Joe, nice image of Wood Ducks. I know from your title that your thoughts are with the two males and the female. If the image were mine I would crop it tighter and clone out the out of focus male woody.

I really like the composition and color palette. I also think it would be stronger if the closest drake was a bit sharper. Still a great scene.

Yes, a lovely scene indeed. Great comp, and great pose from the hen. Some sharpening halo is visible around her, and maybe you could sharpen up the drake on the left, clean up around the one on the right. Unique shot.

Looks like a painting. Story is certainly told and that is what's count for me here. Very nice image.

Thanks for the input everyone. I agree on the left drake being a little sharper, I thought the 7.1 was going to be enough might have to go to f9 next time.
Joseph I have some nice pair stuff that is full frame like this, I hate to crop.
