    Very nice Joe, I like the simple but effective comp. Why handholding at ISO-800 and not tripod at ISO-100? Just out of curiosity, I have no complaints about the IQ.

    Hi Joe and welcome to the Macro forum! I, too, like the comp and the colors are pleasing. At f/13 I might have expected a little more sharpness on the petals to match that on the green sepals. You might try some selective sharpening on the petals to see if it helps - unless you were going for a soft-petal look in the first place. Overall, this is nicely done and I look forward to seeing more of your macro work.

    Thanks guys. It was kind of an unplanned deal hence no tripod. I was going for the soft petals to go against the harsh/sharp base.
