    I was out this morning and walked along to Ravenscraig Castle, which is a ruined castle, in Fife, Scotland, built around 1460. I was more than happy when I saw this Kestrel, which I think is nesting on the castle. Thanks for looking.

    Hi William, this is a tough shot to pull off. You had the kestrel sharp, but the lighting worked against you here. the bird itself is pretty dark and lacks details. I'd suggest go back and learn about the bird behavior and pick a location that has the sun behind you in the early morning or late afternoon. This is a gorgeous bird and you will be rewarded with patience. Loi
