Taken from a boat on the Kabini Reservoir, Karnataka, India. With the 400 mm a completely candid shot of a couple of young men in their coracle in the early morning.

    Colin:
I like the muted colors in bg with brighter colors in the clothing, the standing mans positioning against an open space in the bg, the candid, non staged look.

    Cheers

    Hi Colin

Randy has my thoughts exactly... An alternate shot may have included more of the standing mans reflection. The BG has a grainy effect which I doubt is noise at that ISO but which I would prefer not to be there. Maybe its fog..?

    regards

Nice shot under the right title, Colin - one can almost hear the soft splash of the 'push rod' going through the water and the soft 'plonk' as it touches the boat. Well done!

Nice composition and handled well technically. Would have wished for a more interesting subject though...

Hi Colin, I like this scene with the light mist or fog? Not sure which it is though. I do see what Dave means in regards to more interesting subject...perhaps if the man standing was doing something as is the other gentleman. Very interesting vessel they are in.
