    Nice pose and good composition. At the small size, I think you might have some jpeg compression artifacts around the bird.

    Great job, this is a really tough bird to get sharp in flight. you did well, increasing the ISO for more shutter speed would greatly help you here. I like his HA and the BG. the image is a bit too contrasty as presented.

    Like Arash mentioned, a tough shot to get. The diagonal spread of the wings makes this a nice candidate for the square crop that you chose.

    To me, the green vegetation on the bottom adds a lot to the image.

    I'd say to add just a bit of sharpening to the head, just at tad.

    Thanks for the input everyone. I was a bit worried about the faint vertical green/yellow band running up just behind the tail.
