    Nice pose and background. I think the flash might be a bit harsh. Also the flash light on the branch looks oddly orange. Maybe I'm just not used to Brazilian trees though.

    Like the eye contact and the open beak pose. This is a new bird for me, and I always enjoy seeing new species. The image looks over-flashed, although you don't mention using a flash in your EXIF data. Do you recall the flash exposure compensation?
