Superb flight pose. Nice wing position, colours, HA, beautiful eye, details and composition.
Love his feet and flashing water.

    Regards,
    Satish.

I like the running pose and the nice light, water splash adds more interest. Details look a bit coarse/crunchy to me and there is some noise in the image.

Great pose and composition. The red eye really stands out.

Wonderful running take-off, with extended rear foot and splash, nice wing position. You might revisit the sharpening; some crunchiness and a distinct halo above the bird's head.

Nice takeoff pose with good colors and water splash. I'm with Arash and Bill regarding the crunchiness and halo. If you have more room, I'd suggest cropping a little less tight to give space for the water splash. Loi

Nice and low in the frame Gary and you can't do much better than having the head and wings forward like this and both feet visible with one keeping up some splash.

Thanks to all for the positive comments. I agree with Arash, Bill and Noi about the crunchy appearance. When time allows, I'll rework the post processing. One problem with the original image was a 1.3 stop under exposure. I was in manual mode for some time with steady light. Moments before this capture, the sun went behind a cloud and I was slow to adjust. The image is nearly full frame with less than 10 % crop.
