    1/1600 @ f/7.1 ISO 400 +2/3 EV

    Added canvas on the right edge. NR on BG and a tiny bit of Nik Detail Extractor on bird.

    Shot in March near Rockport, Texas.

    The high SS was used as I was preparing to shoot the egret as it made it's strike at the meal it was stalking, as seen here.

    I love it, Tim. The smooth water surface creates a nice tranquil affect to the utmost degree and the reflection is just enough to make it interesting. Nice focus & clarity too.

    I like the simple design, and also the feather that is sticking out of her tail. Reflection would have been stronger if the water was calm. good exposure and details.
