Nice pose against the complimenting blue of the sky, Joe.

Nice capture with this lens, Joseph. It can be kind of soft on details - the low ISO probably helps. Great pose.

The white area on the tail is almost the same colour as the sky on my (crappy) work monitor which makes it look like a hole. There might be some cyan cast there to look at. But then again it could just be my monitor.

Nice clean image of this species. A vertical might work well here too.

I like the slender look this fella gave you and it hung out on a nice perch. Light getting a bit harsh here, and I do wish it had given you a better head angle. Vertical was a good option to explore in this situation. Good call cloning out the branches as you have yourself a clean frame.
