    Image was created in the month of Feb,2014.Basic editing, cropped and sharpened.NRapplied to BG.

    ISO:400, 1/320 @ F: 10.0 Manual. Pattern metering. Manual settings.
    WB:Auto. HH. Canon: 550D, 400mm.

    Nice portrait with good details and colours. Very nice BG. I like the piece of food stuck to the bill. I would look into adding back some canvas above, and eliminating the tiny bright object peeking into the frame in the extreme lower left corner.

    Love the SH and the BKGR. Yes to evicting the tiny white sliver llc. Is this a free and wild bird or a captive?

    Nice bird, it looks like the image was shot in the wild. Daniel gives you a great idea about adding more room.

    Juan is right. imaged in wild only. This juvenile was feeding under the supervision of parents near by, by the time I approached close they flew away.
    However this juvenile come close to me, got few frames before sun went down.It was there for 10 minutes even after I took last image in last sun rays. Finally parent fetched him/her.
