Red Heron

Hi, its been a while since i published my last image but time has been a issue. Today i post a photo of a Ardea purpurea or Purple Heron. This is a threatened specie in Europe and although is not rare in Portugal its not easy to see one.

nice find, it is always tough to photograph rare birds, I like how his talons are showing. but looks like he was quite far and ended up too small in the frame with not much detail. It would be ideal to get both wings up or down, reducing the saturation of sky also helps here
