    Default Kea mid-air hop

    While panning for flight feather colors I ended up with a kea hopping instead from rock to food tray.
    Captive bird in large flight aviary.
    Details : Pentax K30 with Tamron 70-300 @ 133mms.
    1600 ISO F5.6 @ 1/3200sec. Taken shortly before mid-day.
    About 60% crop.

    Those greens are really nice and saturated. Unfortunately light was too harsh here and subject is soft. Perhaps the focus locked on the contrasty BG

    Thanks Arash.
    Used Multi segment metering but having problems with Photoshop Elements Save for Web quality.
    However The B/G shrubs do look sharper.
    Something else for me to watch for !!

    Nice specie for sure! love the greens as commented by arash. Also wish the image did not look grainy.
