Taken a few years ago while going through the Rockies. I applied a Topaz painting effect, added in the brighter sky, manually painted the fog to match sky and tried to bring out a bit more detail in the rock face. Thanks for looking

Well done! Very nice composition with the two smooth & gently colored layers of fog and clouds with the dark jagged Rockies uplifted between. I really like the colors and softness of the fog layer.

Strong composition with gorgeous tones and cotton candy fog-wow. The greens are a bit strong but they do counter the reds and oranges. Nicely done.

    Paul,

Greetings. the composition is superb with the contrasts in tone and texture. The color seems to break down in the clouds just above the rock. Some color adjustment and smoothing there would work for me. Thanks for posting.

    Cheers,

I agree about the nice colors in the clouds and fog, and the way their softness contrasts with the mountain's sharpness and detail makes for a dramatic image. Well done!

Yes, nice contrast between the rocks and the clouds both above and below! The fog looks like cotton candy. Nice one!

Love what you did coloring the fog. Works really well. Good composition. The colors of the sky are beautiful, but I agree that the colors above the peak look a bit odd. Did you purposefully keep the mountain dark?
