I have more room around the bird, but that eye is so amazing wanted to make sure it's as large and prominent as possible.

I think the last comment you made in your OP nailed it for me. I can't decide if I want more room around, or if I want a tighter crop! It's nice to get an image like this that works with different crops.

The eye is stunning, but the water droplets around the neck are a nice addition
