Default Theme: What Else Gorilla'z in the Mist

Mist is a little like fog, close enough for me...multitude of things done, using Nik Color Effects and Topaz Effects to get desired base image. Then I used Topaz Fog Effect for fog effect.

This image was taken at Animal Kingdom at Disney in Florida and this silverback doesn't look like he's happy to have his photo taken.

Just having fun with this one.....Ciao for now

Back soon to comment my wife's car is ready to be picked up at dealer....two cylinders were misfiring....

Paul, this is a nice portrait-while not grinning ear to ear, the Silverback does seem to have a bit of a smile-wonder how this would look with the eyes (maybe even the facial area devoid of fur) a little less obscured from processing? hope things are ok with the car, down for repairs can be inconvenient!

Nice adaptation for the theme Paul. I often wonder what captive wild animals are thinking...

Hi, Paul, nice "fog" effect. I think gorillas always look so sad in zoos. (Maybe I think all animals look sad in captivity). Gorillas, though, seem to be a little angry and contemptuous at their captivity (maybe I'm thinking too much)

I like the over-all diffused look to this and especially, the pearl-like glow on the gorilla. The bright, yet subdued bkgd colors very nicely frame and emphasize the gorilla. That look you captured, Paul, is enough to throw open the doors of all the cages and let the animals have their say for once!

I'm not keen on photos of zoo animals, so I didn't look at this one for long. The sad face is too much for me.
