This one's a bit different. I have several flight shots of egrets with wings extended up or down. For this one the egret flew past at eye level. I liked the sharp body and blurred wings. What do you think?

I like it for the most part Gayle! You controlled the whites well and it's sharp where it needs to be. I also like the eye-level perspective. Even the crop works for me, although some may say that it needs some room on the left. Good job!

    Hi Gayle,

This image is sharp and exposure is good and the bird is showing some nice color in the lores.
It would have been more appealing if it was flying at more of an angle towards you to see more of the front of the wings and bring them closer to the sensor plane. The wing position isnt bad just the birds angle. What has happened here is the wings are OOF and bright so it draws your eyes there instead of to the birds face and body.
