    Default Magnolia In Plum Bush

    Migration picked up a bit today with the south winds last night.
    This Male Magnolia was photographed in a plum bush on of course Plum Island in MA

    I like it, John. The bird is sharp, the pose is very nice, and the bird stands out well from the background.

    Sweet little bird, and you got a great pose from it. Compsositionally it is a bit off IMO. Horizontally the warbler is placed at right, which is fine, but vertically it is too centered. Here is an alternate crop...I know you tried to preserve the cluster at ULC, but here I cropped some of it away but I placed the three unopened flower triangle there to give it some balance. I also selectively desaturated the yellows on the chest a few points.
