My new glasses

More crazy app fun! I finally got my new glasses Monday after having to wait 5 weeks after the last cataract surgery... hooray!! I decided to be trendy and got some dark frames this time. (I've been wearing rimless for about 6 yrs.) I made this with an app called Phone Booth with my iPad, and used Portrait Painter app by jixipix on the iPad, then did a little tweaking in Photoshop. The reflections on the glasses are from my big screen TV. I made this at night with just the overhead lights on. I guess this is more of my smiling face than you wanted to see.

I think this image is great fun. Love it--the smiling face and the glasses. Good job. I like images that make me smile, as this one did. I know how you feel upon finally getting glasses after cataract surgery. Yay!

Lots of fun Judy, but I think your new glasses have some astigmatism... Great idea for a selfie! I had cataract surgery two years ago and now have artificial lenses in both eyes. It is amazing what they can do now. I went from going blind to 20/20 overnight.
