    I like the clarity of the bird vs the background. good wingspread. What post processing did you do ?

    Stuart, another really nice egret in breeding plumage and a great action pose! There is a bit of bright blue on the leading edge of the wing between the neck & body that catches my eye too much. You might want to just tone that down some. I like this light touch of what I believe is oil paint in CS6.

    I love the oil paint filter and I'm so glad they kept it from the old pixel bender suite. Nice base image, love that breeding plumage flying behind... Nice job with the filter, it can sometimes get unruly but you did a great job with it. Have you considered adding a canvas or sandstone texture?
