Default Wood Stork at Cutler Wetlands

From a month or so ago. I love these birds. Birds is the newest side of photography for me so I'm interested in everything you guys have to say.

    Thanks for looking,
    Paul

I love the reflection on the bird and the tranquil water.

The Wood Storks near us seem to stay close to the shoreline, so we don't often get the chance to get such a clean bg like you've done here. Very serene.

I find this to be a very peaceful, calming image, enhanced by the warm colors and nice reflection. I think it might have been stronger had the stork been turned more parallel to you, and I would burn that stick in the bg that makes a right angle.

I like the reflection on the plumage. Overall, it seems a bit underexposed.

I agree with Axel that the image is a bit underexposed. I like the nice habitat, and the water reflections on this juvenile wood stork's body. I love these birds too!

The overall darkness of the photo gives an "end of day" mood to it - I like it. Cropping a little off the right would place the bird a little less centered.

Thanks everyone for the critique. It was actually sunrise.
