    Default Dribbling Wigeon

    This dribbling American Wigeon image was captured from a bird blind at Lighthouse Pond in Cape May, NJ. It was bitter cold that day and the wind was ripping through the window of the blind. I used a beanbag on the window shelf of the blind to steady my camera from the howling wind.

    I like the contrast between the duck and the background. I also like the water rippling around the ducks body. In this case the slightly higher POV works fine for me.

    Gorgeous colors, and IQ. Love the falling droplets. The light looks great and the duck contrasts well against the deep blue water. Would love to see it posted larger.

    Lovely portrait, Rob. Nicely exposed, and the water drops do add interest. Dark water helps too. It would look fine at 1200 px wide.
