    Here is a closeup I took of a male Mallard. The picture has not been cropped. Let me know what you think.
    Canon EOS 7D, Canon 600mm f4 L IS with 1.4x extender

    Like the low angle, good eye contact, and excellent detail. I would tone down the whites and perhaps pull the saturation down a little.

    I like it Rodney. I agree with Dough maybe a little less saturation of the green head.

    Exquisite details, light and colors. It's a stunning duck species that doesn't get much love. Very nice image.

    Thanks for the comments everyone. I had wondered about the whites. I will figure out how to tone them down.
