    Nice image. Love the water texture and the calm pose of the bird.
    The bird looks slightly fuzzy on my screen.

    A very nice image, John. These birds are challenging as they seldom seem to sit still. The pose, the low angle, the light, and the water are all excellent. You might try a bit more sharpening. There are a few little spots in the white under the eye that look hot on my monitor. Well done.

    I would crop some from below and add some above. Still very nice, wish I had anything as good when it comes to phalaropes. Very good low angle.

    Great angle, light and eye contact. I also like the water colors. Maybe a bit more sharpening of the plumage but not the bill since there are some edges already. You could select the bill more carefully to avoid this.
