    Default Long-tailed Silky-Flycatcher

I found this handsome bird in my last photography workshop. It was bathed under beautiful light but the perch was way too busy, this by the way was not a set up, but that's where the bird decided to perch as this specie does not come to feeders.

I wish that littel branch was not ''touching'' the tail but shooting in the tropics can prove to be very difficult at times.

    For this one I used

1D4+600f/4 (I)+1.4TC+ISO800+SS1/80sec.+EC+1/3+tripod+Minor post in LR+Resized and cropped in PS+Almost FF+I did some cloning on BG.

    Many thanks for looking.

Lovely bird and overall colours, Juan.
I would be tempted to tone down overall brightness here - especially the brightest tones?

I agree with that - beutiful shot which does look slightly bright on my gear. Glad the backdrop has some detail in it.
    Grand shot.

Beautiful bird Juan! I like the pose, sharpness, details and composition. I find the image a little bright as well. Was this image taken on your trip to Ecuador?

The boys above have a good point about the brightness of some areas, but man-o-man what a beautiful bird you present us here! Nice details and colours and I like the head pointed up a tad like this. The cloning in the BG is perfect as it is un-noticeable.

What a gorgeous bird! Just amazingly beautiful. And I love the natural setting and your comp. Have to agree that it's on the brighter side.

What a sweet species. Love the natural setting and appreciate that it's in the wild. The brightness on the bird looks perfect to me on my calibrated monitor, agree that the background could come down a bit.

Wow! Beautiful species and image Juan Carlos! Repost is better, but still a tad bright on my monitor - but what a great shot!
    Cheers, Greg

Juan gorgeous shot - love it, I think the brightness is still a tad high - I have an alternative for your consideration:-
