Shot once more from the National Bird of Prey Centre, this time of a captive Red Kite. I have seen some of this type of Bird in the wild but it was nice to get a look at one close up and flying. this is just about full frame...I clipped the top of the wing but was lucky to get all of the tail in....oh well there is always next time.:)

I really like the wing detail that you get with your birds. I like the high key look on this one......and the eye is so bright with this one. I don't mind the clipped wings and I keep looking at that eye. The MkIII does an excellent job for you. I'm still holding off to see the reports of the camera in sunny bright weather this summer.

Nice capture on flight and the details are razor sharp. I would have liked to have seen the entire wing, but it works for me...congrats...:D
