    The late afternoon sun and the brilliant white of the bird was a challenge.


    Camera settings:
    F5.6
    1/2500
    200mm
    Iso - 1600 (automatic setting)
    Lens 200-400 Nikon
    Camera: Nikon D700


    I am experimenting with the automatic ISO - not letting the camera choose a setting more than 1600.

    Beautiful image! I love the detail of the image, the spread wings feather gives it a nice touch!

    Nice take off shot. I like the curled primaries.
    Wish the head wasn't merged with the wing but not a deal breaker.
    I would lose the green in the RLC or include more of the branch,

    You should post your images bigger at the allowed size of 1200 x 900.
