    I captured this image a while back at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County Florida.

    Hi Joe,

    I'm used to seeing images of Glossy Ibis mainly in the water or in pasture, so interesting to see one perching like this. I like the pose but the light angle is ruining it for you a bit - with a bill like that I guess it is going to cast a shadow.

    Maybe it isn't your thing, but if it was mine, I would have cloned out those blades of grass that are skewering the Ibis.

    Superb image beautiful bird in habitat with nice HA, nice lights and composition.

    Nice job. I like the pose and habitat. I would leave the long blades of grass, except maybe the one going through the head. They put the bird 'in' the setting instead of just 'on' the setting.
