I've been following an Osprey pair now for a number of years here in Newfoundland. This pair breeds in a tree on a very steep cliff side along the main road that heads into a small town called Terrenceville. Last year before their arrival I climbed the step cliff side and built myself a photography blind in the thick forest. The blind allowed me in and out of the nesting area with out distrubing them at all. I captured this moment as one of the three chicks was begging for food from the parent.

I love the view of the chick begging for food, and its not often we see the pattern on the young's back like this. Nice separation between the scene and the background. There is always that one twig sticking up with nests is there! I agree a bit looser comp would work, but nice to zero-in on the "action". The very darker feathers on the front edge of the wing could be lightened a tad IMO.
