    I echo the comments above but would add that I find the image a bit over sharpened ( easy fix),

    Love the breeding plumage colors that you've captured, with great detail and perfect head position (IMO). I also noticed just a slight crunchiness in spots.

    Elegant portrait with tons of details Joe. Gorgeous colors on this fella. Agree that backing up on sharpening just a tad wouldn't hurt the image.
    I would trade some of that SS for more DOF (and/or ISO). Nicely composed too.
