    I photographed this reed bunting this morning just a few kms from my home.

    30D, 500/4 IS + 1.4tc from the car

    Beautifully done and presented!! great looking bird! love the perch! but he really stands out against that soft subtle background!!

    This has a very elegant look to it. The pattern in the BG is really interesting but not overpowering.

    If I had to change something, I might move the bird just a hair more toward the LRC.

    Wonderful image Hillebrand! Just goes to show that the bird doesn't have to take up 90% of the image for it to be a good one.
