Thank you Satish for the heads up on 'WORLD SPARROW DAY'. I was unaware even though sparrows many times fill a void during season lulls in bird availability. On a windy day this White crowned landed to eat seeds on a rabbitbrush.

    Very cool sparrow.
Light pose and habitat makes for an interesting image.

Unique image that I like alot. Great setting and the three seeds flying off into the wind bring this up a notch higher (funny how they basically look the same). I would, however, crop some canvas off the top as there is too much empty space up there IMO. Also perhaps aa touch dark on the subject and perch. Belated Happy World Sparrow Day indeed!!

Hi Douglas, great angled pose from the sparrow, and he looks nice and comfy nestled in the seed bush. I agree with Dan to maybe lighten sparrow a touch, but would leave the seed bush as is. I can also see a version as a traditional horizontal comp with more on the right if you have, and coming down from the top just above the seeds. The three floating seeds takes this over the top.

Excellent image of beautiful sparrow to celebrate World Sparrow Day. Very nice perch and backdrop with lovely flying seeds.

This image is 100% made by the falling seeds. It takes it way over the top for me. Very nicely timed!

What a killer image. I loved it from the moment I saw the thumbnail. I would crop just a tad off of the left and right to make it more of a vertical.
