    Well done with water droplets and overall detail, maybe a tighter crop would bring out the action even more. TFS

    Very nice Jon,
    I like the water droplets and think they really add to this image and the low angle is great. Looks like you had just enough SS to freeze the head as it shook the water off.

    Man, this is too much. Two great shots of grebes exhibiting this behavior in a row by two different photographers here. I will double my efforts now!

    Excellent moment captured.Beautiful colors, nice details, lights and low angle. I like the composition as it presented as water droplets looks superb and enhances to the beauty of frame.

    Hi Jon, you are getting your monies worth with these guys, and another great image showing the feather detail and colours. Great low angle, and I like the extended pose and flying droplets. Was he having a bath?

    Nice action shot. I Like the colors and the water drops. Low angle and exposure control work fine.

    Thanks very much everyone, glad you like it. The bird had just been diving for fish and was having a shake up to get the feathers settled again.
