    Wow Rob,
this is really nice. These ducks are my nemesis ducks. The only shots I have of them are swimming away butt shots!
The comp is excellent and I would also like it about 2% looser all around.
    The feather detail is wonderful.
You have great light and a nice BG as well.
Your depth of field looks good but if you had "a next time" I think you should try for an aperture of F11 to get even more detail through the bird.
All in all, an excellent image and one I would love to have in my files.
    Well done!

Very nice Rob, No complaints from me. I like the water droplets on the bird. they add interest.

Gorgeous Duck Rob, can't comment re exposure/detail as I'm on laptop but it does look nice. +1 for a little more top and sides, though I'd crop a little bit off the bottom to effectively lower the head in the frame.

Cool looking species. I missed the first post but this crop looks good to my tired eye!
Very good exposure of whites and with a clean BG.

Excellent exposure and details. Love the bg water color. A bit more sharpening on the head would do it for me. Nice work Rob

This is a lovely portrait, Rob. Beautiful water color. And it's about as close to eye level as one can hope to achieve at the jetty.
