BeePNogie has continued to be busy... He left North Carolina and made a quick trip down to Georgia and then back up through South Carolina. He and my main photo assistant shared a quick snack of live oak leaves and longleaf pine needles while scouting for painted buntings on Little St. Simons Island off the Georgia coast. They both LOVED the boat ride out to the island and bouncing around in the backpack while visiting a number of feeding stations.
After leaving Little St. Simons Island, we made a few more stops along the Georgia coast before scurrying to the Audubon Society's Beidler Forest where we hoped to photograph some prothonotary warblers (successful on that attempt too!).
Unfortunately, it appears that BeePNogie was paying too much attention to Lou Bounomo at the Alligator Farm (http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...ad.php?t=11254) and got a tad too close to the gators at Beidler...
Great images Robert and I can just imagine the wonderful bond formed between your little assiatant and Beep. She is a real cutie and I know Beep would has found a friend for life !!! thanks for sharing.
