    and now very busy to collect material for the nest building.

    Very nice, with good details and color, maybe wish that the stick wouldn't cover as much of the face, but still very nice.

    I like this a lot. A backlit black and white bird does not make things easy, and regarding this I think you've done a very good job.

    There is natural behaviour taking place, and whilst the twig may not have been the one a photographer would have given him (!) none of the important parts of the face are covered, so again it works for me.

    The shot could arguably stand a little more contrast, but it would have to be slight and subtle. All in all, in my opinion, a very good shot

    Nice with the big twig and a good job of getting the whole bird in the frame. It looks sharp enough. What time of day was this image made? The bird's head seems to be mostly in shade.... The bird is definitely not backlit...

    The picture has been taken: 2014:03:13 at 09:36:28 in the morning.
    i had the sun in my neck, the stork was flying in the sunlight.

    YAW. The days must have been long ones as the sun was high in the sky for mid-morning. It is clear now that the bird's head was in the shadow if its wings as the image was made.
