    Default Great Horned Owls

    Hi all,
Looking for some critique on these images of a great horned owl family. I recently purchased a used Canon 800mm lens, and moved over to Canon, so am trying to get the hang of things. Spot metering on a tripod, Canon 70D and 800. Thanks so much. - Paul Kammen

Sharp on the adult's eye and cute. But you clipped Momma's tail as noted in part by Arash....

Thanks for that. Fortunately this is cropped just a bit, so I can go back to the RAW file and get mama's tail in there. Unrelated this is from the lens that was suggested to me on the birdsasart blog, the Canon 800. I think it will serve me well.

YAW. We look forward the seeing a wider repost. The 800 is a great lens. I hope that you used my affiliate link....
