Perhaps this should be in "out of the box, but I have other versions for that. This was at a recovery facility in Costa Rica, free flying in the jungle, but they came back at night. From a trip a while ago.

Nice work, Steve. I really like the concept of this image, but I feel like theres a lack of critical focus on your subject's eye, which makes or breaks this type of image.

Should this be hand of man?

I like it! I think if you take to it with Artie's eye techniques to bring out the eye, it will be that much stronger.

Great composition and close up, love the colors and moody look...agree with the eye issue...:D

Sorry, Steve, but this just doesn't work for me - and I can't explain exactly why not. Maybe I'm too far "into the box." :)

Blake makes some excellent points here Steve. I like the concept here, but the eye simply must be sharp, and it isn't. This goes in the 'close but no cigar' file.

I isolated the eye and sharpened it. I am not familiar with Arties eye sharpening technique.
