Nice duck, well photographed. I would put the bird higher up in the frame if it were mine. (more room at the bottom, less at the top)

What a gorgeous duck, William. I like the slight head turn creating perfect eye contact. You've exposed the dark feathers nicely, but you may want to guard the whites some more, as the REDs are in the 250s on the cheek. TFS and keep them coming.

    Hi William

You have a nice low angle on this image compared to some of your older post. I quite like the composition and wouldn't change it much. May a touch more off the bottom if anything.
I don't think the exposure is far off but agree the cheek is a bit hot.

it is a handsome bird and low angle POV is nice. The IQ is lacking a bit with noise starting to show in the darks and whites a bit blown. the image has a strong yellow cast

Very contrasting bird tough to expose. I think it looks good William especially the dark eye. You can try to paint in some shadow on the black areas if you want, but leave that nice eye alone!

A good shot I suspect you may be able to improve if you went back to the raw file. I would suggest lowering the highlights then checking the white balance, did you sharpen the ACR very much? Did you apply NR in Photoshop or in ACR? A few tweaks and I think the image could be improved.
