Apart from cleaning up a few dirty spots in the water - what have I done to this image. I will post the original later.

This is an Egyptian goose taken early morning this previous sunday.

Suart, that's pretty neat-I'll second the inversion and add something done to the eye-upper image the eye looks rounder and the catchlight appears different?

Edit-The more I look at this, I'd say the entire head was swapped in on one of these-the back of the head and area just under the bill don't seem to match-or is it two entirely different birds matched to create the illusion of a reflection?

This is a really nice image. Do you have rotated the picture 180 degrees?

This image tops all the Duck images I have ever seen when it comes to having a perfect reflection, Stuart. Beautiful image, excellent IQ.

Sweet image Stu. Lovely goose-suspended-in-space feel. No idea what you did! You found the first pair of conjoined goose twins? :)

Aside from the reflected area, you've removed all traces of water. Love the light and IQ.

Well done to those who picked up its inverted. The water was so calm that it created a perfect reflection. I added a bit of sharpening to the reflection. I also removed the second catchlight on the real goose. Although the spots in the water look like dust bunnies, there are all dirty spots in the water.

Thanks a stack for participating. Here is the unedited version with the real goose on top.

Fascinating how different the reflection appears compared to the "original"- back of the head, tail feather arrangement and shading, space allowing water to show under the neck and on the top of the back etc-I guess it's all dependent on the angle of reflection. You did a great job cleaning this one up, thanks for sharing-R

Nice shot Stu, lovely detail. In a way I am glad I was late to the party because my answer was wrong!
