Hi everyone, I've just joined this forum after stumbling upon it though a google search!
Might as well jump straight in at the deep end, so here's a simple dunnock shot, taken with a Canon 1d3 and the 400mm f5.6L. It was just a grab shot as I was out dog walking, but as the light was decent I
decided to take the camera along, as last time I left it at home in nice light a Buzzard went and sat on a post just a few yards away from me, and the run home to get my camera nearly saw me off!
Welcome, Mike!! I like the exposure, pose, sharpness and detail you got here, and don't mind the busy stuff at the bottom -- that's the setting. Great light!
